Where the wind take you

Life's Little Lessons 9: Spontaneity is awesome, try it more often.

I would have to say that even thought today was perhaps one of the longest days I've had in a long time, it's has been a good day. Well besides getting a 79 on my Spanish exam, it's been a good day!

But on to today's lesson.

Life has just been slapping me around alot today, there were so many things that I could have written but some of them were kind of depressing and I've just gotten home from an awesome time (We'll get to that in a second) so I decided to keep things up beat! Cause I mean who likes a whiny little cry baby? Okay so I went with "Spontaneity is awesome, try it more often" because my favorite person in the world randomly grabbed me and said "Let's go see a movie!" and like that we pulled up Fandango and looked for movie times. We settled on the 8:05 showing of "Crazy Heart" at 7:30! Off we went like a fat person after a donut fresh out the oven and I must say I had a wonderful time. "Crazy Heart" was a really good movie, I recommend it you guys. In fact click here to read my full review of the movie! (Crazy Heart Movie Review) Continuing on, if it wasn't for Katherine's moment of pure genius I would probably be laying in bed getting some much needed sleep but who needs sleep when you have COFFEE. Actually I don't really drink coffee but I know the caffeine is supposed to be like crack and it fit the moment so i used it.....yeah anyway. Be more spontaneous people, just wake up and go do something totally random it will make your day!

Welcome to the Madhouse

Come on, Come on, Come on in. Come on, Come on in!
It's a MADHOUSE!!

Greeting and Salutations My Friends,

The name's Phillip but you can call me Philly, most people do. I'm currently a student at New York University Tisch School of the Arts studying Film Production, Romance Languages and minoring in Producing and Business of Entertainment Technology. Right now I wanna work as a producer for television and animated feature films. I love animated movies especially the work of Hayao Miyazaki and Disney Animation, the 2D stuff not the crappy 3D movies. I listen to techno rock, like Jeffree Star and Breathe Carolina, really loud and dance till I'm a sweaty mess. I eat bagels with peanut butter and Easy Mac is a gift from God!! My goal is to sweep the Oscars taking home 12 of them bad boys for the movie I'm going to create with my besties Katherine and Meghan. I gonna help heal the world, just watch me.

Alright so there is my little intro to who I am as a person now down to business. My life has been.....interesting for lack of a more appropriate word and everyday life seems to teach me little lessons. So in an effort to prevent others from making the same mistakes I'm going to share my daily lessons with you all in a daily blog. I've actually been doing this for about two weeks now so I'm just gonna catch you all up in one post ready.....HERE WE GO!

Life's Little Lessons 1: Extend an olive branch to a friend you've recently lost touch with, you'll be surprised how great it will make you feel even if they don't reply.

Life's Little Lessons 2: Starting your day before 11am isn't that scary. When you wake up early you have more time to accomplish the things you need to do.

Life's Little Lesson 3: Never show someone your full potential right off the back, let them set the bar low and watch their face as you clear it without trying.

Life's Little Lessons 4: Dont under estimate yourself you'll be amazed just how much will power you actually have.

Life's Little Lesson 5: Just because you say you're over someone doesn't really mean you are.

Life's Little Lesons 6: don't let your Friends influence your friendships with others. You should be friends with everyone.

Life's Little Lessons 7: Pick your battles carefully, war is not about muscle its about strategy.

Life's Little Lessons 8: Defend what you love until you breathe your last breath.

So there you have it the first 8 lessons life has taught me so far this year. I know there are bound to be over 100 of these by December 31st 2010 but I'm interested in seeing exactly what they will be.

Until we meet again Blogosphere
